With a strong commitment to supporting survivors of domestic violence, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible power of human resilience. As a trauma-informed counsellor, I deeply value creating a space where individuals feel safe, heard, and empowered to explore their healing. My therapeutic approach is rooted in humanistic and strength-based modalities, which focus on the inherent value and potential of each person, guiding them toward a place of growth and recovery.
I work with individuals aged 15 and up, offering support through a range of mental health challenges, whether it be the trauma itself or the possible challenges that follow. My goal is to build a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust and understanding, where clients feel confident in their ability to heal and thrive.
I hold certifications in Level 1 and 2 Occupational Awareness Training, specifically focusing on Emergency Worker Trauma and Firefighter Culture & Trauma. These fields face unique mental health challenges, as continuous exposure to critical incidents and secondary trauma can have significant impacts on well-being. I am dedicated to providing specialized support to those who work in high-stress environments, offering a space where they can explore their resilience, process trauma, and work towards healing.

I’m here for you, no matter what you’re going through. My approach to counselling is rooted in the belief that every individual is unique, and so is their journey toward well-being. I work with individuals aged 15 and up, providing personalized, compassionate care tailored to your needs.
I integrate a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help clients overcome anxiety disorders, OCD, and phobias. This evidence-based approach involves gently and safely facing feared situations or thoughts, while resisting the urge to avoid or engage in compulsions. With support and guidance, clients learn to tolerate discomfort, reduce anxiety, and build confidence. ERP empowers you to move beyond fear and take back control of your life one step at a time.
In addition to these modalities, I also incorporate mindfulness techniques to help you stay present and grounded, enhancing your emotional regulation and self-awareness. Whether you’re working through difficult emotions, boosting your self-confidence, or building self-compassion, mindfulness can offer practical tools to stay centered in the face of challenges.
